Why does chrome startup with safari
On system startup Safari boots up and shortly after Chrome boots up. Why? Don't want Chrome to boot up just Safari.
iMac, Mac OS 9.0.x
Neither runs on Mac OS 9.0.x. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac and find your actual operating system.
With newer operating systems when you shut down or restart it gives you the option to reopen windows after restart. This will also reopen any applications that were still running when you shut down. And lastly, if you have your Accounts system preferences login items set to launch them, they will launch.
