Display's, Power point slide show cause crash

We monitor and control 20 some odd mac minis in classrooms using ARD.

Any time the units change a setting in displays, start a slide show in power point, or any display changes the ARD goes from changing size to old size and back rapidly. over and over and eventually crashes. We have had numerous updates and still this issue remains.
