Fisheye Filter Recommedations?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a fisheye filter to apply to a short movie clip and wonder if anyone has any recommendations. I can apply to either a clip created in iMovie or maybe a filter to record directly from iSight cam on MacBook (so I can see fisheye effect while recording).

Can anyone recommend a free or inexpensive fisheye filter I should look for?

Adam,

Neither. It's part of iMovie.

If you click on the Editing tab then choose Video FX you should Quartz Composer. If you click the arrow next to it you'll see all the Quartz effects and you'll find Bump Distortion among them.

One caveat. The Quartz Composer effects require video cards with programable GPUs.

Matthew,

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not familiar with Quartz Composer Video FX. Is this an application or is this another effect from the company in the previous post? I'm sorry, I'm a little confused;)

I just know for 50$ ⚠ Geethree Slick 3, offering a fisheye effect...

I was hoping to avoid spending that much, but it looks like I may have to in order to get that effect:(

Adam,

You might also take a look at the Bump Distortion effect. It's one of the Quartz Composer Video FX.

It gives you a wide angle/fish eye kind of effect.
