why do attachments open in the body of mail I send
When I send an email with an attachment, the attachment opens under the text of the email, instead of simply showing an icon. How can I stop this?

If the attachment is only one page then it will display in the message viewer. It will show as an icon for the recipient. If you don't want the text displayed then compress the attachment. Then it will appear as an icon.
