What is the latest version of the Beats Studio Wireless firmware?
for me it says 1.1.16 is installed and "Up to date" ... and a friend says "1.2.75" is installed and "Up to date" ...
either 1.2.75 is the latest and the update service is broken, or 1.2.75 isn't the latest and the update service is broken.... either way... the beats update service is broken.
According to Beats support;
Our firmware can vary based on when the headphones were assembled. As long as you don't have any issues, you'll be okay moving forward.
So, we're stuck with old firmware.. at least for now..
I've managed to updating from 1.1.16 to 1.2.99 (2015-04-27) by reversing their api connection and injecting the firmware link. Latest one doesn't have the hissing-after-5-seconds-of-idlin problem and sounds noticeably better.
Is there any way you can walk me through this process using a windows 7 PC?
You can now update to firmware 2.1.8 with the beats update app.
