Does anyone know if ios 8.3 update fixed the conference calling feature on FaceTime? The 'merge calls' icon is always greyed out.

iPad Air iOS 8.3

I have never been able to use the conference call feature on FaceTime b/c the merge calls icon is always greyed out. Does anyone know if this feature was corrected with the latest iOS update?

(There isn't a choice for FaceTime for iPad or any other community for FaceTime other than FaceTime for Mac)
