Reveal original photo in Finder with new Photos.app

I'm clicking on the info button on photos to get the filename

then right click photos app in finder 'show package contents' then selecting masters and doing a search for the filename

roundabout way to do it but I can find the few I need but yes would like to have the option in photos to easily show me the location in Finder directly from the Photos app.

i filled the feedback!It makes me mad that i can not "Reveal original photo in Finder" and can not just drag and drop the file to skype!!

btw,you can just drag and drop to Mail app.May be in my case it is skype that preventing from drag and drop from photos app

If you Option-drag the thumbnail from the Photo window to the Desktop you're get the original file. Quicker than exporting or messing around in the library package.

Actually it's not the same when you drag/drop. Check them in Photoshop. The copy is a bit smaller, has lightly different color and some of the metadata is missing (eg Camera Type).

File>>Export Unmodified Original seems to work however.

But Old Toad didn't say drag/drop. He said to option-drag that is, hold the option key while dragging.

You might want to offer the health warning that modifying, changing or altering anything in the Library package will corrupt your local Photos Library, your iCloud Photos Library an also, possibly, the libraries on like devices.

There's a reason that command is not available, after all.
