I didnot have any wifi problems with ios 8.2 on my iPhone 5s and now that I updated to iOS 8.3 I have a ton of issues. Slow connection, no connection, and constantly having to enter my wifi password to reconnect as if my phone forgot the password after every connection... Apple let us go back to iOS 8.2 or fix this ASAP! If I wanted all these issues with updates I would've stood with android...

I have set and reset my router and my IPad Air to no avail and still have this problem. It's odd, but it seems that when my computer is on the problem is not there. My router works fine with everything other than iOS devices. It would be nice if they could get this right once and for all. For me the problem has been intermittent since iOS 8 and has got much worse with 8.3.

1. With the computer on - no problem

2. When a video or something else is constantly connected to the router (from any device) also no problem.

3. Just using the iPad Air, drops every couple of minutes or can't connect.

iPad wifi problems after iOS 8.3 update:

i had disconnection problems now and then with earlier versions of ios8 but with 8.3 I either cannot connect or the connection lasts less than a minute. How long before Apple will acknowledge the problem and fix it. I like Apple products. My workplace is an all Apple shop. How can the company let this continue? Class action?

I was not having any problems with my iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air 2 until I installed 8.3. Now if I can get them to connect to my home Wi-Fi (Apple routers) it is extremely slow. I have a 100+mbps connection and my Wi-Fi measured on my iPad was 45 to 50mbps. Now if I can get it connected it is running at 4 to 5mbps. Come on Apple, you usually have better quality control than this.

Hello team,

yyes initially i was very happy that apple has really found a solution.

however it dint my WIFRIED is still not working unable to search networks.

i Have wasted a lods of money on my data plan because of this issues.

is apple really serious of resolving this issues... Or vll have to suffer and wait for next upgrade.

i Have started doubting that quality for which APPLE products were known for....

Since iOS 8.3 I can not connect to WiFi. It allows entry of PW and shows it as a checkmark under the WiFi networks it is connecting to, but nothing in the top. Just stays on LTE still. If I check my IP it's issued from cellular. Did a network reset and a restore to defaults... still F-d.

Really ******, but more just frustrated. So much for the "it just works" claim.

I feel your pain. This is now beyond annoying. I have had nothing but problems with wifi since upgrading to iOS 8! 8.1 did nothing to fix it despite claims, in fact it caused further problems with Safari...keyboard closing after typing first letter, sites not displaying content properly etc. I have been ready to throw my Ipad 2 through a brick wall for some time now, with wifi disconnecting every 3-5 minutes!! And now with 8.3 and mention of a wifi fix...Ha!! Now that I have upgraded, not only does wifi disconnect after a couple of minutes...it does not reconnect! perhaps it will ...after 10 minutes or so if I'm lucky...but then gone again a couple of minutes later. IPad is basically useless now. No more Apple products for this family!.

reboot, reinstall, etc.etc.etc..tried it all from many forums...all useless! Wife's ipad works great from the same room...oh yeah...still on IOS 7.

Me too. it's actually worse than 8.2.

When I updated to 8.2, I experienced the problem with wifi for a couple of days. Then it went ok for both my ipad and 5s. But I couldn't sleep leaving my phone on wifi alone as I might miss an important ft audio, or skype call. but so far, my wifi problems with 8.2 diminished.

When 8.3 came I said, "Finally, I can turn off my 3g at home without worrying losing my connection"

I was wrong. So wrong. The first day was awesome, no problems. Then the following day, when I woke up, no wifi signal. Then I realized the bug is back and it won't leave this time. I have to be literally beside my router, and it doesn't stop there. I get disconnected from time to time as well even in close proximity. That's why it's worse. With 8.2, when I'm beside my router, at least I don't get disconnected.

So much disappointment when ironically, this update should have ended the problem instead of making it worse.

I've been having the same problem since updating on Friday to 8.3, I can connect to my work and hotspot wifi, but not my home wifi. I reset the router at home and I just get prompted over and over to add the wifi pw and can't join. Now my MacAir is having connection issues too. My MacBook is fine. My work laptop (non Mac) is fine. So it's isolated to the 5s. I thought 8.3 was to fix "wifried" from the 8.2 fix???
