I use Pioneer AVH-8650BT with apple carplay but today after I update my iPhone6 to an iOS 8.3 and when I connect it to my car with the cable. There's no a map icon anymore.
Any suggestion. Please kindly advice

I have same issue. Maps is missing from the dashboard. I can use the navigation from my iPhone and the maps icon shows up on the side but i cannot click into the icon. Please fix.

I don't have the MAPS icon in CarPlay also! Is there a mirror function from apple iphone to the Carplay system?
Same here! Contacted both Apple and Pioneer.. Pioneer's customer service said it was Apple thatbdisabled on 8.3. Apple asked me to restore my iphone to factory settings on 8.4, and off course didn't work. Unbelievable How a main feature of a car dashboard can't work. And even more unbelievable Apple not caring about since April.

Does anybody know if they're planning for a fix on iOS 9?
Please note that Maps isn't available in Thailand on CarPlay.

there is a footnote after Thailand (5) and if you go down to the bottom of the page you will see in small grey print that maps isn't available.
so this isn't an error it is by design because they feel that maps in Thailand isn't yet "ready". I also live in Thailand and have not found a workaround.
