Updated to iOS 8.3 and now when group messages come in on my lock screen and notification center it shows all recipients of the message before the message, for example "To: John, Sarah, Ron hi how's it going?"
This is really annoying and hard to read, every time I read it I think the "To: John, Sarah, Ron..." is part of the message. Any way to turn this off?

Here's a screenshot, it actually says "To you, Person1 & Person2..." Way too much info to digest in one glance!
Same thing is happening to me! Need to know how to go back to just who the message is from and the message itself. Very annoying.
I Agree! And I have been looking for a fix or really anyone on the internet to be talking abou this and no one cares. I HATE IT. this needs to be fixed.

IIt's way too much info to look at at one glance. Plus it's supposed showing you a preview Of the text. But you lose an entire line of preview to this and I read "To you& as prt of the Message every time.
I Sure hope they fix this soon. at least give us the option. I get notifications on my vivosmart and now I don't see any part of the text. Very frustrated.
I Also can not stand this "feature", and I cant believe it passed through product testing.
I'm also unhappy with this change. If you won't undo it, please add an option to disable it.

This NEEDS more attention. APPLE please make this an option to turn it off. I KNOW WHO IS TEXTING ME in the group text message. Insanely annoying.
I cannot find this issue anywhere else so I want to bump this issue if it isn't already. I use a pebble and with this change, the message is truncated due to the text. This made me have to pull my phone out of my pocket just to read the message when has never been a problem before. There needs to be a way of turning this off!
Give the group a name and all that crap will go away.
Actually it doesn't fix my issue. Apple still has added a line to the text. After giving the group a name it now just says the group name instead of To: ....
What I believe we are wanting, at least I am, is to have the second line of the notification be the text of the message, not who is in the group. It should look similar to if it were an individual.
I still think Apple could have an option to turn it off. It can't be that hard to add.
