Hey Siri not working on Carplay 8.3

Hi

Since upgrading to 8.3 I get no response for hey siri when my iPhone 6 is connected to my pioneer SPH-DA120, it used to work intermittently

Also although I have a genuine iPhone cable connected it now says accessory not supported, carplay connects ok though and i can use the features.

Any idea on a cure for these 2 issues.
