Dear list members, suddenly, the ESC key in my wireless keyboard stopped working. As it looks normal and all other keys are working properly, might it be a configuration problem? Could you please help me? I'm working on an iMac 27 late 2012 running OSX 10.10.2. Thank you.

Please reset the SMC, this may take 2-3 attempts and post back with the results.
Thank you for the reply, rkaufmann87. Unfortunately, I reset the SMC four times and it did not work. Maybe it's a problem with the keyboard itself. Any other suggestions?
Try another keyboard (any USB keyboard will work) and test it, if the replacement keyboard is okay then you know your original keyboard has failed.
Thank you again, rkaufmann87. Yes, I tried a colleague's keyboard and it worked. I tried also unregistering my keyboard from the bluetooth record and registering it again, and it did not work. It seems like the keyboard itself is malfunctioning.
Yup, if it is under AppleCare or the original warranty contact Apple otherwise it's time to replace it.
