Welcome to Apple Discussions

Do you have the latest version of AcidSearch and SIMBL installed? If you do, please post the Safari Crash report in its entirety that appears after the crash. If AcidSearch or SIMBL is not the latest version, upgrade them, then restart Safari and see if the crash is resolved.

Mac OS X (10.3.9)

Location, location, location.

Acid Search
Located in /HD/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plug-ins.

Inside is the file acidsearch.bundle

SIMBL
/HD/Library/InputManagers/SIMBL

inside is the file SIMBL.bundle

That's it. Any other SIMBL or Acid Search files are not necessary.

If you set up Acid Search and SIMBL to be used only from your User Account, then the Library referenced above would be the one inside your User Library.

Post back to confirm the location of the two above referenced files.
