Is there a program like Windows' Paint for Macs???

I'm a new Mac user and I was just wondering if there were any programs on the Mac that are similar to Paint on Windows. I've been looking through the applications, but there doesn't seem to be anything like it. Does anyone know where I could download a free program for Mac that is similar?? Thanks for your help!

Try appleworks "painting". That might be all you need. Not sure exactly what feature you are looking for in MS Paint.

get sea shore from the apple site..i think it's under mac osx downloads.. it's free, and works actually a tad bit better than paint
