how do i back up photos from iPhone 5 to iMac if my iPhone 5 will not turn on?

    If your iPhone will not turn on, then it's too late to perform a backup.  Backups must occur before catastrophes, as they cannot occur after a catastrophe.

     

    Of course, if you use Photo Stream or iCloud Photo Library, then your photos should already be on your Mac.
