keynote not responding

I am running into an issue with keynote and was wondering if you could help me out

- Keynote just doesn't want to play even with a completely blank presentation

I've done the following so far:

- updated current keynote to latest one

- remove keynote with appcleaner

- run disk utility on the permissions

- reset PRAM

- remove plist and cache several times

- ran keynote in safe boot = no luck

- saw in the console that keynote is having some "font" issue

- ran font book - validated all fonts until everything turned out okay

- removed keynote again

- rebooted

- installed again = still no luck

Please advise on what needs to happen next in order to fix this problem

Thank you

Perform a font check as fonts can be a major problem:

close all applications

Applications > Font Book

in the Collection list > click all fonts

click on the first font in the font list

Edit > Select all

File > Validate Fonts

in the fonts list that appears, look down the list for any fonts marked with yellow or red warning symbol

click in the selection box for each font with a warning

click the Remove Checked button

close Font Book
