Q: i cannot install adobe flash player, i have it on my download page but i am nowhere, i was told safari has to be turned off to install the flash player. how does that work since safari is my web browser. i was told to down load google chrome
my fash player is out of date, so i tried to install a new version. i was told safari must be closed to do this , but safari is my only web browser. i was told to down load google chrome and go from there , chrome is easier to work with. i have the adobe flash player on my down load screen but i cannot install it, i need help with this.

Desktops
Safari is used to download the installer. The installer does not require Safari.
