Q: I hold my iphoto on a remote drive and iphoto won't let me access them

I have around 150gb of photos on a remote (hard-wired) drive and after updating the iphoto app, I cannot access them, why? And does this mean I have to store on the cloud. Can I reboot the older version of iphoto

iPhone 5, iOS 5.0.1, Macbookpro & Ipad2

I just found the old application for Iphoto and reloaded it - that way I can still see my photos and share them.

Try holding option when you launch it, and make sure it's pointing to the remote drive.

The problem is this:
So I cannot get to my library and their 'learn more sends me round in loops. At what point do I press 'option'? I'm an old chap and not hugely versed in the software.
