I have a Macbook Pro Retina Display Mid 2012 that has a 512GB SSD Hard Drive. I am finding that I need more space and having an External Hard Drive is a little inconvenient. I see that there are 1TB SSD and thinking of changing out my Hard Drive. Is this possible? If so, what brand of Solid State Drive should I look into. Thank you for your time.

Hi, I changded the original ssd 256Gb to OWC 1T on macbook pro 10.1 by following ifixit steps.
But when I turn on the laptop, i get the folder with question mark. If I hold Option key while turning on, I get internet renewal option but once trying to run it, the disk is not found. Please help me with this issue fixing. Thanks. Andrej
