Beats replacement Remote Talk cord

My Beats headphones replacement Remote Talk cord that I recently purchased is now not working properly. I noticed that the volume up button was initially kind of sticky, but it still worked. Now, the volume buttons aren't working, my music will pause and play over and over, sometimes my music will skip, and other times Siri will activate without me touching anything. This is now the second cord that has failed me and at least the initial one lasted a few good months. I just bought the replacement cord not that long ago and refuse to have to continuously spend the ridiculous price to get a new one again. Is there anyway I can exchange this faulty cord for a new one or have it fixed for free? Thank you.
