For the last few weeks the dictation on my iPhone (5S, iOS 8.3) has kept cutting out after a few seconds whenever I'm dictating a WhatsApp message... I carry on speaking but it stops listening after a couple of words. Then I press it again for the next couple of words and so on.
Still working fine on all other apps, and on my iPad.
Any suggestions?

I have updated to IOS 8.3 and Undated Whats.app after,,,I have iPhone 4S.. Same problem since these updates.. it cuts you off wheil you are dictating..
I have sent an email to Whats.app and gave them this thread and said it is growing...
iPhone 4s and same problem since iOS 8.2. After installing 8.3 it worked fine for one time and now I am back to not working. That really drives me crazy. Have written to Whatsapp as well twice already. In other apps it works as it should.
I am also having this problem. so is my wife on her iPhone (I have a 4s, she has a 6). I have found that dictating something (anything) into Notes and then using Whatsapp seems to reduce the cutting out by quite a margin - try it. Hope the Whatsapp folks get it sorted - we use Whatsapp all the time!
Wattybuzz suggestion of dictating in Notes and then using Whats.app has worked for me and stopped the problem... Try it guys...
This strange solution did not work for me!
I can not believe that WhatsApp is not capable to fix that issue because it has been there ever in since 8.2 came out. Since I am dictating this at the very moment and dictation works in all Apple apps just fine, it is definitely a Whatsapp problem.
