problem with 10.10.3

I have just updated to 10.10.3 but my iPad is not reconised can anyone help please?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

I understand that your iPad is not recognized by your Mac. Here is a troubleshooting resource that I would recommend going through for this issue.

If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac

Thank you Jason269 it was helpful, although I did manage to sort it out ( I have no idea how I did it ) but it all seems to be working. Thank you again for your assistance.
