Yes it does support Windows 8 in bootcamp, but interestingly there is no support for bluetooth in Windows 8. So the fact that there is only one port and the multi out ports are not shipping yet it can be challenging to operate the new Macbook. I can however say that it is a beautiful piece of hardware!
