Apr 10, 2015 12:06 PM in response to vega_giancarloby Kappy,Please make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service. If you are not in the US, then contact your local Apple vendor to get it repaired.

Apr 10, 2015 1:03 PM in response to vega_giancarloby Kappy,Try Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) and Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM, if possible. Beyond that there isn't anything you can do if it's a hardware failure, which it certainly sounds like.

Apr 10, 2015 2:46 PM in response to vega_giancarloby K Shaffer,★HelpfulFor those driving north of Belize, some distance into Mexico, there are
some authorized service providers and some independent resellers...
These are not exactly convenient to Belize users of Apple products.
And then there's Puerto Rico... between shipping & duties, + costs.

A different look into the Apple country locator may show retail resellers
though of those, as they are not Apple Store (company) those likely do
not offer a Genius bar such as the US & Canada. One could use Apple
locator page to see Apple sales independent affiliated resellers in Mexico.
Cancún area has three companies (total four locations) for Mac service.
Mérida apple retail independent resellers (seven) + two premium "iShop" w/ service
https://locate.apple.com/mx/en/sales/?pt=all&lat=21.0023779&lon=-89.609860299999 98
Cancún apple Mac authorized service independent providers (four shown this location)
https://locate.apple.com/mx/en/service/?pt=4&lat=21.161908&lon=-86.8515279000000 1
The Apple country locator page shows Belize -- But there are no listings in the Belize result.
Appears there may have been or could be some body there who had a business, once?
Sorry to say it would appear you have limited options, for sales and service;
when my dad lived in western Belize for 4 years and had Mac computers,
they took their own and backups. Occasional visits to the US allowed the
units to get service or repair a few times each year, if taken along.
Good luck & happy computing!

Apr 10, 2015 2:50 PM in response to vega_giancarloby K Shaffer,Hopefully you can obtain some quality service in the region,
you may also be able to send the computer to one of the
better authorized independent companies, perhaps. Not sure
about how all of that works out, with extra costs & duties, etc.
There is a company in the US that ships computers and does
repairs to almost all models, by the name wegenermedia.com
in south carolina state. However there's that shipping, etc again.
In any event...
Good luck
