AAfter updating to iOS 8.3 I cannot delete one unst of a repeating event. The Calendar App crashes. shutting down app does not help. Nor does restarting.
Any by ideas on how to correct this unexpected iCal behavior?

If you are having issues with your iPhone's Calendar application becoming unresponsive or quitting when your attemp to delete an event, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Thank you for your suggestions. Closing the Calendar app, restarting the iPhone and resetting the iPhone did not work. I was reluctant to blow it away, so I went into the troublesome calendar event in OS X and deleted it and that fixed the problem.
I shoulda thought of that earlier. Sighhhhh.

I have exactly the same issue; phone will not delete one instance of a repeating event, and the calendar app then crashes and returns me to the home screen. I came home and deleted it from my Macbook, but it's obviously a problem with the update since it's happening to many people.
