New iCloud foto-mediathek doesn't sync with Fotostream?

im using the new iCloud foto-mediathek on my iPad, on my iPhone I still,use fotostream. Now I don't see any of my ne pics from my iPhone on my iPad anymore. Isn't it all in the iCloud, doesn't it sync automatically? If not, do I have to go back to fotostream on my iPad to see it again?
