My Drafts folder disappears

My drafts folder disappears occasionally. I can't relate it to anything. It is just gone. I can make it show up (with my saved draft email in it) if I create another draft. Then I can access the first draft email. I saw a discussion this but saw no resolution. Thanks.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), This happens on two machines.

Any change after doing this?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.

(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
