Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I am in iTunes it says I don't have enough space on my iPhone to update and that I need to change my sync options to make more room. The notification says I need 770 mb, but when I check my iPhone storage, I have 1.13 gb free. What's the problem? I have the most up to date iTunes and mac OS as well if that matters.

Having the same problem, with the exact same amount of memory needed. iPhone says I have 26GB of messages, too! Deleting movies does not free up any space. I suspect we will have to backup, restore to factory defaults, update software, then restore from backup.
Same problem here. It was ok before update.😠
Maybe we need to wait for new update
If you just upgraded iTunes, Apple unchecked the box on the Summary page that says "Manually manage music and videos." If you check this box and try to sync, it may solve the problem.
Note to Apple - Find a way to save user settings (ALL of them) when you do an iTunes upgrade.
