I am not computer savvy at all. However, I would like to write a song using this program. Is there a tutorial on it?

If you want to learn GarageBand X, I suggest you check out my book "GarageBand X - How it Works" from my "Graphically Enhanced Manuals" series.
Not only explains the book the ins and out of GarageBand with lots of easy to understand diagrams and graphics, it also provides lots of background information about audio production that is necessary when using GarageBand.
