Q: Can family share purchased ringtones from iTunes?

i Purchased some ringtones from iTunes store, but can't see how my husband or children could find them to add to their phones. Where should I look?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

A:

You can't family share them, tones (and audiobooks) are one time-only downloads from the store. If they want them on their devices then you/they will need to copy them to the computer's iTunes library that they sync their devices to and select and sync them. If they are currently only your phone then you should be able to copy them over to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and you can then copy them (assuming that they use a different computer) to the computer that they use and add them to its iTunes library via File > Add To Library.
