Weird digital noise when using a 2nd MOTU 828.

The audio from my second 828 is delayed and then starts making a weird digital noise like bad clocking. It used to track without a problem. I have 828#1 set as the clock sourse. Everthing sounds fine without a delay on #1. 828#2 and even things I plug into it's ADAT in sounds weird. I have set up an aggregate device that lists both units.

Help please.

Hi,

I don't have two 828's to try this with, but with my ADA8000 hooked up (ADAT 8 channel box) to my 828, I have to set the ADA8000 as clock source (ie the adat channel) to not get what you described.... I'll check next time it's hooked up if it doesn't help setting the second 828 as clock source..... Hope this helps...
