Q: limit reached

I attempted to add 365 photos to an album to share. Subsequently, 200 photos were uploaded and I got a notification for each photo that couldn't be uploaded because of my iCloud limit being reached. So I got hundreds of notifications. I googled it, and something isn't very clear to me....it says 1,000 uploads per hour; my shared album now has 200. What am I missing? FYI this is the first use of

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

have you checked the limits for sharing on this page? My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limits - Apple Support

There used to be limit of maximum 200 photos per shared albums. I am not sure, if this limit still holds.

Yes, it says 1000 per hour.....
