Q: Creating a "roaming network"

I'm trying to create a "roaming network" using my Time Capsule connected to an AirPort Express via ethernet. I found an article that suggests I set the Router Mode on the Time capsule to "Share a public IP address". My Time Capsule doesn't have the "Share a public IP address" option. Instead I have 3 options: 1) DHCP and NAT 2) DHCP only 3) Off (bridge mode). Will one of these work?

I just tried #1 (DHCP and NAT). My Time Capsule returns an error called Double NAT. It says this AirPort base station has a private IP address on its ethernet WAN port and is connected to a device or network using NAT. It instructs me to change to bridge mode.

Is the Time Capsule your only router? Or is it connected to another router that isn't an Apple router? Also, see Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support.

I get my internet from Rogers Cable so i have an internet modem upstream. The modem has wireless available but it is turned off. My Time Capsule is of course the main base station and is connected, via ethernet, to an airport express downstream.

I think your modem also provides Ethernet routing, so you will need to set the Time Capsule for Bridge Mode - Join an Existing Network.
