The inline controls for my Bose Freestyle ear buds (which controls volume, pauses, ff/rw music and answers phone calls) has stopped working after updating my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.3. They only play music and none of the other features function. Anyone else have similar issues? 😠

That's an interesting issue. I would not want that happening to my headphones either. Do you have a model number for the headphones? I'd like to research a couple things before I answer your question.
Bose Freestyle Ear buds are the model, they were purchased 7-Nov-14 from a Bose retail outlet, serial # 062630942001937AE. Bose tech support have not received other similar complaints so I suspect it may just be a coincidence that they failed right after the update. Bose tech support indicated that software updates generally have no effect on performance and functionality. They are still covered under warranty and Bose is shipping me a new set.
I have the same issue currently. I updated my iOS a few days ago and today I went to use my Bose earbuds and they do not work. I don't have any other earbuds to try right now. My earbuds are the Soundsports for iOS.
I Have the same issue with iPhone 6 and Bose QC15. It works on my wife's 5 with same iOS. Normal earbuds work.
