More than one project window open?

I was able to get the job done. I saved the full imported AIFF and then did save as to save each track and then reopen the full track and cut and save as to save the track ... etc.

I was just thinking it might have been easier to have the full track open and then cut and paste into each track project.

I dragged an AIFF file into garageband. It was a sixty minute recording of a rehearsal.

My task was to split it up into individual tracks.

Basically, I would listen to the end of a song, place the track head there, and do a command T to split the region.

So, I would do that twelve times in order to get each track split from the sixty minute long region representing the rehearsal.

Does that make sense?
