I'm having lots of problems with my Macbook Pro 15' Retina

Hello,

I'm having a few issues with my Macbook PRO 15' Retina.

I bought it brand new from the store back in 2013.

After one year of good working now the computer is total rubish.

First I have some problems when editing videos. I can edit my videos in FCPX. But when the computer gets hot sometimes freeze so I have to make hard reset. And then I get a Graphic report when restart. This is not every day issue but it happens a lot of time. Sometimes also happened when I open the RAW image with space ( Preview ).

Now I'm discovering that when I shut down the computer ( Not sleep mode ) it is all OK. But when I turn it on I get a black screen but I can hear the welcome music. Or that music at the start when you turn on the computer. Somehow after 10 - 15 minutes I manage to get the picture. But for me this is not normall.

I'm also having a problems with my Iphone 6. Service in Slovenia didn't found any of the mistakes and with their tests they said the computer is fine.

Because of my work I can't be without computer more than a few days because some lazy peoples don't have time to make a few tests more. They asked me to leave my computer there for one week and they will do a proper test.

Is there anything I can do to repair this problems?

Thanks

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive

Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.

When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.

Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.

Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Alternatively, see:

Choose the version you have installed now:

OS X Yosemite- Reinstall OS X

OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X

OS X Mountain Lion- Reinstall OS X

OS X Lion- Reinstall Mac OS X

if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Linc, Thanks for the link. Sadly my computer have all three symptoms.

I was on service in my hometown 2 weeks ago because of that ( Ljubljana, Slovenia ). They did one test but the computer didn't failed on their tests ).

After when I was a little ****** off they asked me to leave my computer there for one week and they will run multiple tests like 5-10 in a row so they will burden the computer and then it might fail. But I can't leave my coputer for 1 week there. Also for the tests which they can do in 1 day.. Too much work to do on this macbook..

Cycle Count: 557

Yeah, it needs service but it looks like they are too dumb to discover that.

Spdnuty:

Thanks for your answer. Since I had similar problems on on home computer ( Windows ) I know the situation and I was trying to tell them that but nothing happened.. They only offer me to take my computer for over one week and run a few tests.. I don't know why they need one week to test the computer but it looks like I will have to leave my computer there :/

"Thanks for the link. Sadly my computer have all three symptoms."

So I'd go for the recall repair before it goes away. There have been people reporting with great results. Even some who were given new (refurbished) computers instead of repairing their old ones.

"Cycle Count: 557"

That's getting up there for a bettary. There is also an issue w/ Yosemite and battery usage.

"They did one test but the computer didn't failed on their tests )."

That's why that Mac tech friend of mine and I ran that ASD for 4 hours for my client. It finally kicked out an error code that we gave to her and she took it to the Apple store in Chicago (One of the best in the country.) and they gave her a new computer.
