Are there even updated windows graphics drivers made for the 27" iMac?

So for months I have tried to find info, had to re-install windows 7 a third time until my friend had a trick but in the end I have not been able to install the new ATI Catalyst drivers version 13.2 over the V12. Says it's installed but it's not. I cannot run some software until I get V13 installed. Paid $80 for the software. Kinda ridiculous. I feel like this particular iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5, 20 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB is really a dead end. Love the machine but how can there not be an updated driver for it? Just makes no sense. I tired the mobile drivers too. Nothing seems to work. What am I missing!?

Please see http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/bootcamp. You may want to uninstall the current drivers, to get a clean slate. Please be careful and ensure you have a System Restore point, otherwise you will not be able to boot into Windows. I suggest you backup both OS X and Windows, before you do this. WHQL and BC-specific drivers behave differently.

got an imac mid 2011 also amd gpu if I ever move away from the bootcamp driver everything turn into poo

I've had to roll back both drivers I let windows update try to replace and drivers I manually tried to install

only the bc amd driver works for me you can get it here

Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5640

it's new enough for me to have played skyrim and batman ak origins without problems in windows 7->windows 8 and now windows 8.1

I have tried and what happens it the OS will not see anything but a generic driver. It's terribly frustrating as I have to either reinstall windows all over or do a trick and install an old driver then update to V12 to the apple standard driver. I will see if that one works however I doubt it and have probably tried it already.

It's Dragon Age: Inquisition. Requires 13.2 etc. etc. I simply can't even start it on V12.

Is that the same bootcamp? I already have windows 7 installed.

Think I got that free from good old games and have it installed in win8.1 can't recall if I started it before can check next time I boot into windows never had a game complain about the driver version I installed with boot camp for my AMD video card

I don't know if installing Win 8 will help really if there is a driver issue and requirement that's not possible to install. I will try and see though. Don't want to spend another $100 on Win 8 if I don't have to.

the game I had was dragon age origins and it works fine I use driver version 13.28.1000 that I got from the latests bootcamp driver zip supporting my amd radeon hd 6700M gpu in my case on windows 8.1 on a 2011 imac

Origins is way old. Very old game. Inquisision is only out a few months. My Card is the ATI Radeon HD 5750 1024 MB and I believe it's a card specific problem.

I tried your link and the install went through really quick. Shows it was finished. But nothing actually was installed. Really strange to me.

I have AMD Catalyst V.12.8 from the original bootcamp for this type and the version the software says I have to have to run is V.13.12 or later. I took a screenshot up this site won't let me upload it for some reason.

Use Windows Snipping Tool - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/snipping-tool and post the .PNG file using the camera icon at the top of the Replay box.

Just to give an update. AMD kinda failed here and I ended up on an EA forum that suggested the 14. xxx beta catalyst. Worked like a charm. Very happy.
