ipod stops working in car - plugged into auxiliary.

Brand new 7th gen ipod which i bought to listen to music in the car does not play music after the "battery saver" time out of the screen happens. Music only lasts about 30seconds, screen goes blank and music stops, works fine when plugged in and used with headphones but not when plugged into aux in the car. What is causing this?

iPod nano, Other OS, software version 1.0.3

It is being caused because you don't have your Aux cable plugged all the way into your Nano. Get a flashlight and check the headphone jack on the Nano and clean any lint/debris you might find. Now plug the cable all the way in, there should be no gap between the plastic on the aux cable jack and the body of the Nano.
