Japanese furigana and phonetic guide
I'm using Office: Mac 2004 on OS X.
But, I have a problem in Microsoft word.
I am trying to do the 'furigana' above the 'kanji' for Japanese text. I have followed all the directions from word help and even some I found on the net. But everything is fine ie, the language register. But I keep getting to the stage where I am supposed to go to format> phonetic guide

_< but there's nothing there! There's nothing I do with a phonetic guide in my format menu. Even when I highlight the kanji.</div>
I don't know what to do. o_O I have a 3 page Japanese speech and I can't remember how to read all of this...
What have I done wrong??
