After reviewing your post, it sounds like the iPad is not connecting to a Wi-Fi network when you want to use it. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Apr 15, 2015 12:31 PM in response to heather7603by Briansyddall,Hi Turn off Router for 30 Seconds Then on iPad go to Settings Reset Network Settings After Reset you need to Enter your Router wireless key . Cheers Brian
