I bought a 5th generation ipod touch. Songs do not sync. I can get some songs on the device through the cloud service, but not all. On my old 4th gen ipod, songs synced automatically, and still do. I'm not sure if the problem is the device, itunes, or both. Advice?

If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?

Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Last, backup the iPod to iTunes and restore from that backup
Restore iPod. Select "new iPod." When setting up on the iPod, just say no to the Cloud and Siri. Set for back-up with computer, not WiFi, manual upload setting. Going back to the "old days" is the only way to fix it. Mine loads quickly now. Good luck.
