Apr 14, 2015 11:43 AM in response to ernestomawanby mikeindc,I have been part of the Beta test and even after three weeks there were many pics that refused to upload and some that uploaded as duplicates. The product was definitely not ready for release.

Apr 14, 2015 2:51 PM in response to ernestomawanby alitalnik,Yes, I agree, the money I spent to upgrade to 200gb is not a beta, though, it's real and perfectly working money... please Apple wake up, that's not serious, would this had happened with Steve?

Apr 16, 2015 9:06 AM in response to alitalnikby justinu,Agreed! I'm really frustrated. Waiting for months for this great feature. I have lots of photos (around 1-2k a year) that I wanted to have cloud access to on my iPhone. But even sharing to iCloud Photo Library on my Mac Mini doesn't push them to iPhone (mine or my wife's or the iPad or Apple TV).
Anyone know what is up? I thought that they would be visible without downloading to phone. I understand the download limits but what actually "shared" was way under that limit.

May 12, 2015 7:43 AM in response to justinuby mikeindc,I had previously had lots of problems with incomplete syncing. I turned off the iCloud sync and deleted all of the pics sorted on iCloud. I let it alone for 30 days and thought I would try it again with a new build. I just installed the new beta of 10.10.4 that came out yesterday (May 11) and figured this would be a good time to test the sync again. Its actually worse this time. I only synced my laptop and Camera roll (less than 500 MB). After about two hours there was at least a place holder for all the pics, but at least 3/4 of were just that place holders only. After more than 12 hours, it is still more than 3/4 place holder only. Neither of the two new "Albums" I created on my laptop synced to the iPhone or to iCloud web. The iCloud web still shows "Albums" that have been deleted. Photos on my laptop are missing the albums that were created on the iPhone. Right now Photos is still completely unusable except for editing of photos.
I like iPhoto and Aperture. Yes the new Photos apps is faster but is not nearly as flexible or offer as many options. I would like to stay with iPhoto and Aperture but who knows how the applications will work. I have begun to compare Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Elements. I am probably going to go with Adobe Lightroom. I can do all of the cross platform syncing with Drop Box or OneDrive which do sync completely.
