How to change/correct tilt in a photo?

How can I correct/change tilt in photos — either iPhoto or the new Photos app?

For example, I took a photo of a poster and, because being face on would create a lovely shadow of my hands and iPhone, I took it off center. I would like to adjust the tilt to get the image "flat".

There used to be a edit tool in iPhoto to do this but I can not fine it anymore.

Thank you in advance.

That has been a long time ago. The first versions of iPhoto had a "keystone" tool, but I have not seen something similar in iPhoto '09 or '11. In Photos I am using the third-party application DxO Perspective and call it via the External Editors extension. It is very intuitive to use. Or, if you have Luminar 2018, you can use the sliders for the horizontal or vertical tilt in Luminars "develope" tools. Luminar 2018 can also be called as a photo editing extensions from Photos's editing panel.

You have to consider yourself as extremely lucky, if it takes only 3rd party to fix basic level casting error on Apple product.

It did took PC, two Software company, Phone and two ISP to be able to write this reply.

This absolutely 100% verified (on normal use) environment did ask my phone (company I for HW and company II as tele-operator).

I just cannot give my simply how-to-fix answerr any more. It just would be again every humanistic rules that I have on last square on my life.

Even the KGB would be envy for this process. So I need to shut myself out from this world vision.

Thank you Old Toad...

Honestly this was something I was afraid. I have face this sama problem few years ago, so crappy that it still occur in it original forma.

Apropå.

Not sure is this techical anomality caused by *pple or *oogle.
For some reason, my PC, with *S OS, with *oogle browser, will always ask 3rd party HW authentication before I can post to this forum.

I'm "techinal view holder" on small cap company, and one item on my work list on next year, is to give opinion for "capex holder" about matter how should we equip our lads..

I have to be honest on mobility meeting. I just need to bring this as first item. Well, do not have anything behind it.

Last item is since, I have not face any of these challenges with lads from Koryoso....

Before I was able to post this, I did need to use another ½h our to unlock my ID. Then agains still to assure my own non-*apple PC to with 3rd party HW.

Small cap companies simply do not have money to pay this kind of lost of work time.
