Spring-loaded folders no longer work

Latest update to OS X Yosemite seems to have killed off the spring-loaded folders system. I notice also that the Finder preferences no longer shows the Spring-loaded folders option but that has now been replaced by an "Open folders in tabs instead of new windows" checkbox option. I did not see any reference to this in the readme otherwise I would not have updated. Is there a Terminal command to re-enable this please?

Thanks for that tip. I gotta say, moving it out of the Finder Preferences and hiding it somewhere not intuitive is one of those typical non-sensical Apple moves. I've been trying to drag and drop files for the last month, 80% of the time it opens up a quick look window and deselects the group I'm trying to drag.
