Adding a SSD to my Mac Mini

I would like to buy a Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7TE500BW) I saw in Amazon. I already have the dual drive kit to install another drive in my Mac Mini.

Is the SSD above compatible with my Mac Mini (Model#: A1347 - Macmini6,1)?

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9), 16 GB RAM

Yes, it is compatible.

The dual-drive kit is fine to. Some users have experienced problems with installing an SSD in the now empty position. When I did my upgrade I moved the HD to the empty location and placed the SSD where the HD was.
