after 10.2 update- imported clips displaying black

I downloaded all updates for FCP, compressor, and system updates. Currently running a brand new Mac Pro, 32GB RAM, dual GPUs, the whole 9 yards. I am running my FCP library from a Caldigit 3 drive raid array, in raid 0. After updating to 10.2, all of my camera clips show only black, no video, but i have audio.

There are no warnings at all in any of my projects or events, the clips are just black, with working audio. I was successful in updating the libraries when i updated FCP to 10.2. The clips I have are recorded from a Panasonic AG-AC160, recorded AVCHD, 1080p24. Any ideas?!

I can skim through audio, and the thumbnails appear for each clip in the events browser, but when i play them, All i get is audio, with a black screen in the viewer. They were working fine yesterday, and the only thing I changed was the 10.2 update. I'm stumped!

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), FCP 10.2

The file sizes haven't changes, so all the data is still there...maybe something wrong with how the 10.2 update changed something in the OS?

MedaHUD gave me this for one of the clips:

Same problem here.

Getting only black in AVCHD footage from AF100 on my Late 2009 iMac.

So that one is dead in the water.

On my 15inch Late 2011 MacBook Pro, I get flickering AVCDHD footage.

When I export it fails if any transitions are applied to the footage.

The work-around solution on my MacBook Pro is to transcode the footage to "optimised".

But this doesn't work on my iMac - it transcodes to black ProRes footage!

I'm having the same problem but with RED Epic proxies. The clips show up in timeline but when trying to watch in viewer there is audio but no video. When I switch to original media it works fine. Just updated to the latest version of RED Apple Workflow but that didn't do anything. I'm currently retranscoding proxies to see if that does anything. Editing on the 5k iMac if that would make a difference.

after 10.2 update- imported clips displaying black
