This is almost certainly a spam message. The sender is phishing for your personal information. Do not phone that number or follow any of the directions.
Yes, of course it is spam. Just wanted to make 'someone' aware. 😉
Thank you both! I hadn't heard of this spam and thought it might be a new thing to get info or $ to 'restore'.
The purpose of the Apple Support Communities is to ask technical questions, and have volunteers attempt to answer them.
Excuse me. I am aware the forum is for tech issues, but I felt I should let someone know about the message I felt was spam, but not certain.
I can't use Safari any more because of this message. I click OK and then it just redoes the website and the message pops up again.
HELP!
Make sure block popups is on in Settings>Safari. Then clear your history.
