I Am having similar issues with both IPad Air 2 and IPhone 6 since 8.3 upgrade

    i also have a hotmail.co.uk email address

i also have issues with outlook iOS app version 1.1.4 since this update

prior to update I would get mails to both Apple Mail app and also Outlook App and could manage them in either and the files would delete or move in the opposite app.

since 8.3 I am definitely having sync issues with what I want to do.

it is either a hotmail issue or an 8.3 issue however the fact my gmail app and apple mail app still sync correctly I am leaning toward it being a Microsoft mail issue but I could be wrong.

I Have uninstalled and reinstalled outlook app and have deleted hotmail address and reinstalled but made no difference.

the only thing left would be to reset iPad and iPhone but hoping I won't have to do that.

I Ended up having to reset my iPad 2. It was very painfull as I lost all of my sent and draft emails and it reloaded over 6,000 of my past emails which I must now selectively delete. It will be a while that I trust an iOS upgrade again until I see others test it.

I'm now having the same problem with the upgrade to ios 8.4.  What the heck, Apple?  I really don't want to have to reset to factory settings and lose all my emails?????  I have done all the recommended fixes and nothing is working....C'mon Apple, you can do better than this - this is acting like a Windows product now!

I just did the update to 8.4 on an iPad 3, and now when I open the mail app I see an icon bar along the top of a blank screen, which persists for a few seconds before going back to the desktop.  The mail app still shows up on the multitasking bar, it isn't actually closed, but if you access it again, the same thing happens. I've tried restarting the app, turning the iPad off and on, and the two-finger reset, but no luck.  Checked my iPad email account using Webmail interface, and there are no emails in the inbox that haven't already been received.  Apple, this is a major problem... do something.... I haven't done a web search yet that finds anyone from Apple providing guidance or a status report, we're just left to fend for ourselves.

Honesfly Apple... You're rich and powerful because your hardware is stylish and indestructible, but you have a lousy corporate practice of forcing updates that outdate your product. Give me back my friggin' Mail on my ipad2 and apologize for the inconvenience and malfeasance. You are better than this.
