The trackpad on my 15 month old Macbook Pro Retina 15" is sticking and causing erratic selection and cursor issues. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. I was told today at the Apple store that the top case and battery needs replacing. This will cost several hundred dollars.
What! come on Apple you caused this problem and I have to pay an extortionate amount to have it resolved.
Unfair surely there's some expectation that an expensive computer will function well for more than 15 months.
