I understand that VoiceOver is enabled on your iPad and you would like to turn it off. If you are unable to navigate the iPad menus with VoiceOver enabled, I would suggest using your computer with iTunes to disable the feature. This process is described in the Accessibility Shortcut section in the attached article.
